Hello! I hope you had a great week! It’s supposed to warm back up this week! I’m glad! I’m not quite ready to put my sandals away for good!

Next week is Homecoming Week at MHS! The students are so excited for the dress up days: USA, Twin Day, Class Color Day, Country v. Country Club, and Spirit Day! There are also spirit games, rock painting contests, float building, the parade, the game, the crowning, and of course the dance! Two of our Huck’s employees were voted onto the Homecoming Court! Congratulations to Izzy Becker and Cam Goeller!

I hope all the students at MHS take advantage of this fun week! Like I tell my students…. you only get 4 times in your whole life to participate in Homecoming week. Plus, I’m sure you would agree with me when I say that high school goes so fast, so you better make the most of it while you are there!

Here’s the outside update for the week!

I love how the market looks in the fall! The mums and the pumpkins just liven it up. And with the new sunny yellow color, I think the fall colors pop even more!

It’s certainly not too late to get your fall decorations set out. We’ve got plenty of mums to choose from! There are still some sunflowers, asters, and a few Steelers and WV mums left.

You can also get a couple of corn shocks if you would like, and we just in another bin of big orange pumpkins! They look so pretty!

Here’s what’s happening on the inside of Huck’s!

Apples are so crisp and yummy! Come on in to see all our varieties. McIntosh is our newest one!

Apple cider is here! I forgot to mention it last week! This is the ever popular Walnut Creek cider that is in the plastic jug. It’s inside the drink cooler.

If you are looking for another flavor of cider or cider in a fancy glass jug, check out our other types of Walnut Creek cider! You can find Granny Smith Cider, Apple Cinnamon Cider, Peach Cider, and plain Apple Cider. What is cider? Cider uses pressed fruits and is unfiltered and unpasteurized. It also ferments over time. Aren’t you glad it’s fall time?

How about another option for cider? Aspen Mulled Apple Cider is being shipped today! Simmer some of this on your stove top and your house will smell like warm apple cider in no time. This is very popular for the holidays, so make sure to pick some up while supplies last!

Tracee Hein has dropped off some beautiful, cut flower bouquets. They are full of zinnias and celosia. These bouquets are $8.99 each. There are also big, yellow sunflowers for $2 each and cockscomb for $5. Bring some beautiful colors to your cozy, kitchen table before frosty mornings arrive!

We have some adorable Fall and Halloween tumblers made by Duffy’s Designs. These definitely get you in the mood for the month of October!

There are also 4 different designs for fall t shirts. These popular shirts come in a variety of sizes and have the nicest quality of material! These are selling for $15.99 which is a great price for a shirt like this! Thanks, Duffy!

Looking for some pumpkin goodies? We have from scratch pumpkin cookies with cream cheese frosting. Oh, my, these are wonderful! There is also pumpkin fudge from Walnut Creek. I haven’t had a chance to try these yet, but people are giving it rave reviews!

Now that it’s soup time again, you may want to try the Walnut Creek soup bases. They come in Beef, Ham, Chicken, and Vegetable. These are great ways to add extra flavor to your own hearty soups and stews that you make at home!

Some people are telling me that they are having a hard time staying away from the freshly baked cookies section at Huck’s. We sincerely apologize! Lol.

Please help clean out the craft section! You can still enjoy 25% off for two more weeks!
