Hello, everyone! Hope you had a great week and are ready for a beautiful weekend! The temps are going to be very pleasant the next couple of days, but the air quality may be poor because of the Canadian wildfires. Some of these wildfires have been burning for weeks, but a storm system off the coast of Nova Scotia has pushed the smoke into the United States.

It’s almost Michigan TART CHERRY time!! Details are down below in our inside update! Notice how Jim wrote -ICHIGAN on our sign outside. Those of you who are die hard Buckeye fans know exactly why he did this!

Happy 21st Anniversary to my one and only, James Matthew Goeller! We got married June 15, 2002 on a beautiful, sunny day. Time really does fly! I’ll post a picture of us on our wedding day. Please, don’t tell us how old we look now! Ha!

On Thursday, June 15, voting begins for The Marietta Times Reader’s Choice Awards finalists. The first round of voting took place in May, and now it is the final round for the top 5 in each category! Voting ends on June 21. Please take a minute every day to vote for your favorite local businesses. It is very appreciated!

Flowers, herbs, vegetable plants, and perennials are now 50% off starting today (Saturday)!

We added one final small order of flowers this past week! It’s still not too late to get some more flowers or to grow some of your own veggies!

Here’s our inside update!

CHERRIES!! We are taking orders now for Michigan Tart Cherries! Here is what you can choose from: 10 pound slush pack ($45-50), 27 pound slush pack ($100-120) or a box of (2) 5 pound bags of Individual Quick Frozen cherries for ($45-50). We do not have a definitive price and won’t until the end of June or start of July. Pre-order now….then we will call you to confirm with an exact price. All orders must be in and paid for by July 8, and then the cherries will be in the first week of August (probably August 2nd). You can order in person, message us on Facebook, or call the market!

Lots of yummy produce is here! Here’s what we have…..

Local homegrown strawberries and broccoli!

Ripley, WV high tunnel tomatoes are here! What a beautiful color, and they are soooooo tasty! Get some Walnut Creek bacon, some Ohio Swiss Cheese, a couple of tomatoes, and some of our sliced freshly baked bread and put BLTs on your menu this week!

From the south………..watermelon, sweet corn on the cob, cantaloupe, half runner green beans, stringless green beans, and hot peppers. We have bagged up the beans into 1 lb. or 2 lb. bags for you, so you can come and grab and go!

We have a few varieties each of potatoes and onions. There are mushrooms, squash, bananas, lemons, limes, oranges, cauliflower, lettuce, and peppers too!

We have bagged up 2 pound bags of either half runners or stringless green beans!

I got to go craft shopping in Columbus! Everything I picked out, I want for my house! Ha! I hope you stop in and take a look!

Peck’s Farm out of Waterford, Ohio has brought in some different cuts of chicken! It’s in the freezer right now, so just ask and we can get you some.

Cornerstone Homestead is going to be dropping off some of their local chicken cuts and turkey as well! Once it comes, I will let you know!

Thursday, July 13th @ 6:00 p.m.: Christmas in July: Cross stitch Ornaments

I love cross-stitiching, so I am hoping some of you who love to cross-stitch also will join me for a fun evening. We are going to be cross-stitching ornaments for Christmas. We will start them, and then you will be able to keep working on them at home. This kit includes 4 cross stitch ornaments: a deer, a Christmas tree, a cozy house, and a snowman. You will get everything from start to finish for this project. No need to know how to cross stitch before you come….I can teach you! Cross stitching is not only fun, but so relaxing! I love it so much! Cost will be $35.00. Sign up by July 1st, so I can get our kits ordered!
